OK, here's the scoop: I live with my elderly grandfather whom I'm taking care of, and I don't want to give people, businesses, my creditors, etc., his home phone number to contact me because I feel that absolutely disrespectful on him and also I want to clear my mobile phone line from people calling. I get around fifty messages a day, and I would like a way to get a free (or almost free) voice mail box so that I can listen to their messages and call them back when I get an opportunity. I am not dodging anyone because I have no reason (I pay my bills and am on good standings with everyone I know) I just hate the phones ranging off the hook continously. I have a lot of obligations, and my mobile phone (albeit accepts free incoming calls) is strictly for emergencies and for key people like my grandfather to contact me when I'm away at the university or work.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Does anyone know of a free voice mail service? I'd like to have one in order to not miss calls while I'm online with my dial-up?
